So many people have asked of themselves, "why me and what is my purpose in life?" Below are some verses that strongly explore who created you and why.
First, why Jesus (the Son of God) was made manifested.
1st John 00047 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Second, what a servant of God does for others by emulating Jesus.
2nd Timothy 00042 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26) And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Third, the purpose of Gods law.
Romans 00080 3:19-20 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. 20) Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
John 00679 15:24 Jesus said: If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
Fourth, why we were made.
Romans 00236 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
Romans 00238 9:16-24 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. 17) For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. 18) Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. 19) Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? 20) Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? 21) Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? 22) What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: 23) And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24) Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?
Colossians 00016 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Philippians 00043 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Fifth, the results if the name of Jesus is called upon.
John 00092 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 00266 10:8-12 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12) For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
